A frappé coffee is a Greek foam covered iced coffee drink made from instant coffee.
The frappe is accidentally invented in 1957 in the Greek city of Thessaloniki and is nowadays the most popular coffee among Greek youth and foreign tourists. And especially very popular in the summer.
Frappe coffee can be made with a cocktail shaker or an (hand)mixer;
One or two teaspoons of instant coffee;
little bit of water;
sugar (for taste);
blend it together so it forms a foam which you can pour into a glass.
add cold water and/or ice cubes and (optionally) milk
Serve it with a drinking straw
