Recipe for a coffee milkshake
With a blender you can make this coffee milkshake yourself (or use a jar with a tight-fitting lid instead). Use fresh ingredients, this will make your coffee milkshake taste a lot better. Ice-cream with high fat content makes the best milkshake, but it is no good for your weight.
The recipe for the milkshake:
2 ounces strong coffee, chilled
4 ounces cold milk
4 scoops (Italian roast) coffee ice cream
To make a double strength coffee, measure 1 2/3 cups of coarsely ground coffee into a 12-cup coffee press.
Add water that has just come to a boil.
Allow to brew 4 minutes, then push plunger down.
Pour into an ice-filled pitcher.
Combine coffee, milk and ice cream in a blender and blend until smooth.
Makes 1 serving.
Perhaps you can add some sugar.
