Recipe for a almond milkshake
With a blender you can make this almond milkshake yourself (or use a jar with a tight-fitting lid instead). Use fresh ingredients, this will make your almond milkshake taste a lot better. Ice-cream with high fat content makes the best milkshake, but it is no good for the weight.
The recipe for the milkshake:
1/3 c. almonds, blanched
1 tsp. pure maple syrup
1 c. cold water
1/4 c. tofu (optional)
Blend together in blender
Continue to blend while adding: 2 sliced frozen bananas
Add frozen berries to desired thickness.
Fresh berries work as well, just add more frozen bananas to get desired thickness.
Add a squirt of lemon or lime at end
The tofu seems to smooth it out well
